The person behind the brand

When I'm not building Cocoon, I'm writing ceremonies for people on the most significant days of their lives. I'm illustrating. I'm printing things at home on my Epson at midnight. I'm a person of faith, a creative who thinks in spirals, and someone who has always made things as a way of making sense of the world.

Cocoon Collection Co. is not separate from any of that. It is all of that, channelled into something useful for the creatives who think and feel and build the way I do.

    Every journal, record keeper, framework, and resource in this store was made by a neurodivergent entrepreneur who spent years trying to build a business inside systems that were never designed for her brain. Not as a hobby. Not as a side project. As a full time, 75 book deep, businesses plural, doing it anyway kind of life.

    What we make here is practical. Honest. Built from lived experience rather than borrowed frameworks. Designed for the creatives who are already doing the work and just need tools that finally keep up with the way they think.

    No toxic positivity. No hustle culture. No shame about the way your brain works.

    Just resources that meet you where you are, help you move through what's hard, and make space for what you're building.

    Joelie Croser • Founder

    Author. Celebrant. Chronic idea-haver. Joelie is the human behind everything you see here. She drinks too much tea, works best in bursts, and has never once followed a linear process. Turns out that's exactly the right qualification for this job.

  • Blakk Cat • Photographer

    The person responsible for making everything look this good. Julia is a hyperfixator with an eye for detail and a gift for finding the exact right light. Honestly, we're just glad she pointed it at us.

  • Amelia Morrissey

    The reason things keep moving when they probably shouldn't. Amelia is the all-round admin queen who holds the whole operation together with quiet competence and zero fuss. Joelie would be lost without her. Genuinely.

  • Abigail Landon

    The person who reminds us that none of this has to be so serious. Abigail handles a lot of the making around here and brings a lightness to everything she touches. Genuinely one of the funniest people in the room. We keep her close for that reason alone.

  • Damien Holder

    The person who keeps everything standing. Damien handles the practical heavy lifting and has an uncanny ability to appear exactly when Joelie has reached her limit with technology. We don't know what we'd do without him. We'd rather not find out.

  • Milli, Coco & Katie

    Official mood lifters. These three show up when the energy dips, the coffee runs out, or someone needs a reason to smile. No job description could do them justice. Just know that nothing here would feel the same without them.
